If you build a web site for me, do I own it?

Yes. After you have approved the deliverables and I have received payment for the services rendered, the web site is yours.

You may change the content, the graphics, the layout or any other aspect of the site as you wish.

There may be aspects of the site that are not technically "ownable" but simply "usable," such as certain kinds of graphics or copywriting. I will advise you on your limitations so that you can make the best decision for your business or organization.

The only right I retain to your web site is the right to show the web site or any custom artwork as designed to prospective clients as a sample of my work.
