Why do you offer FREE stuff to help others so much when your own livelihood depends upon building web sites?

1. My clients contract me because they have...
   
   No time: They don't have the time to invest in the quality of web site they need. 
   No desire: They would rather be doing something else with their time, or 
   No comfort: They don't feel comfortable with the process or technologies. 

   * These relationships are built primarily on referrals.
   
   

2. Life is too short. If you really want to build the site yourself and learning new things like this excites you, YOU SHOULD DO IT. My hope is that if you get stuck with anything, you will contract me to get unstuck :) And when you get tired or bored or frustrated, you know you can call me!
   
   
3. I'm an educator at heart. Before changing my career to the web industry, I was on track to becoming a teacher. 
   
   
4. It's part of my family way -- or something genetic. Many of my relatives are teachers. Though he was not formally a teacher, my grandfather had the cornerstone on the "right way" to do lots of things, like peeling corn, healing wounds, etc. Though I believe the right way is all relative, identifying "the way" is fun for me.
