serve on the COMPAS board of directors. COMPAS is an organization
dedicated to providing hands-on artistic experiences for youth,
whether it be painting, writing, musical or performance. I decided to
run for a position on the board on account of my having been a
participant in the COMPAS Summer Writing Workshops and found great
value in it.
