Community Partnership Center

The Community Partnership Center at the University of Knoxville, TN came to me with a suggested architecture for their web site. They had a wealth of photos and copy that they put toward the project. The designer of the University's home page had some inherent specifications that were used on many other University web sites. Though there were no specifications, style guides or supporting graphics, I was able to reverse engineer the design to create a look and feel that carried the spirit of their site's brand and using Community Partnership Center's color scheme.

The masthead you see here contains a montage of the photos that Dr. Ginny Seitz and her students took during the projects they facilitated. Since the lighting, focus, and composition of most of the photos was poor, I did a good deal of color correction, resizing, cropping, and editing to create these results.

The Community Partnership Center wanted to maintain the web site themselves. I created a set of easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions and met with their administrative assistant on location to train her.
