People use one of two ways to find what they need on the WWW:
  1. Type in a known URL.  Perhaps they saw the URL on TV -- or read it off a business card or brochure.
  2. Conduct a search on an engine or directory. Search Engines and directories are like virtual telephone books containing the URLs of web sites that are submitted by the public.

Unless your site visitors already know your site is out there, you will need to list your site on search engines.
